Professional Experiences

Internship at AdaCore Paris (Sep 2012 – Mar 2013)
I created a specialized language and its compiler to describe the process of software certification. Its friendliness and robustness largely save the designing time.

Research Experiences

(Master thesis ongoing) Algebraic method for learning parity with noise, Security and Cryptography Laboratory, EPFL (Mar 2013 – Jul 2013)

Palm Vein Recognition with Local Derivative Patterns, Speech Processing and Biometrics Group, EPFL (Feb 2012 – Jun 2012)

Human-friendly Artificial Intelligence Game Platform, Artificial Intelligence Lab, Peking University (Apr 2008 – Mar 2009, Jun 2009 – Jul 2011)
It is an online platform which collects users’ artificial intelligence programs of a game (such as chess), allows them competing with each other, replays the flashes of the games, and ranks them by their performances. Using this platform, I successfully organized the team competition of both China National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) and various university courses.

Extracurricular Activities

China National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) Scientific Committee, Student Member (Nov 2010 Present)
I organized the team competition of NOI 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011. I designed many problems for NOI related contests, such as IOI China team selection contest, NOI Shanghai team selection contest, NOI in province (NOIP) preliminary round and final round, etc., since 2010.

Helvetic Coding Contest (at EPFL) Committee Member (Mar 2012)
I was in charge of setting problems, designing/selecting prizes and coordinating. The contest hosted 100 participants from across Switzerland.

Peking University Programming Contest Organizing Committee, Secretary-General (May 2010)
I was the head of the organizing team. By attracting 751 participants from 7 provinces (48% more than previous year) and gaining sponsorship near triple previous year, I successfully made the contest a wonderful event.
